Weddings and Ceremonies at Hope Unitarian Church

Located on a wooded hilltop in South Tulsa, Hope Unitarian Church offers a peaceful and welcoming setting for weddings and life celebrations. As part of our mission to support love, community, and meaningful life transitions, we open our space to couples seeking a ceremony that reflects their values and beliefs.

We joyfully welcome spiritual, interfaith, secular, and LGBTQ+ couples to celebrate in a setting grounded in inclusion, authenticity, and connection.


Ceremony Spaces

Couples may choose from several beautiful spaces on our campus:

  • Sanctuary – An indoor space with seating for up to 200 guests, filled with natural light and views of the surrounding landscape
  • Outdoor Gardens – Natural, tree-filled spaces that provide a serene backdrop for ceremonies of all sizes

Each setting offers a calm, nature-connected environment for meaningful gatherings.


Use of Space & Facilities

Use of our facilities for weddings includes access to shared spaces that support your ceremony and gathering, such as:

  • Gathering Hall and Fellowship Hall
  • Indoor and outdoor ceremony areas
  • Tables, chairs, and linens
  • Kitchen and restroom facilities
  • Wedding arch
  • Two preparation areas for the wedding party

These spaces are part of our broader campus, which supports congregational life, education, and community events.


Facility Use Contributions

As a nonprofit religious organization, we ask for a facility use contribution to help support the care and ongoing maintenance of our building and grounds.

Typical facility use contributions are as follows:

Day Time Contribution
Monday – Thursday 4:00 – 10:00 PM $1,000
Sunday 2:00 – 10:00 PM $1,250
Friday – Saturday (Daytime) 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM $1,500
Friday – Saturday (Evening) 2:00 – 10:00 PM $2,000
Friday – Saturday (Full Day) 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM $3,000

Additional Contributions

Additional contributions may apply depending on the needs of your event:

  • Cleaning: $100–$200
  • Setup Assistance: up to $300 (if requested)
  • Refundable Deposit: $500
  • Reservation Deposit: 50% at time of scheduling
  • Rehearsal Time: $50/hour (if outside reserved time)

Optional Support

To support your ceremony, we can help coordinate additional services through trusted professionals. These services are not included in the facility use contribution and reflect the cost of hiring outside providers or specialized support.

  • Officiant: $500
    (Couples may request use of our minister or coordinate with an outside officiant, subject to approval.)
  • Musician: Starting at $200
    (Varies depending on musician and service needs.)
  • Basic Sound System Support: $150
  • Audio Recording: $200
  • Video Recording: $200
  • Livestream Service: $300

These services are offered as optional support to help make your ceremony meaningful, accessible, and aligned with your vision. All services are coordinated as part of our ministry and community use of space, and fees support associated costs rather than commercial profit.
