What We Offer Through the Lifespan

We provide children, youth and adults an opportunity to explore, reflect, and learn in a nurturing spiritual community. Unitarian Universalist religious education programs offer all ages, inspiring:

  • Ethical growth – internalizing enduring values like justice, equity, and compassion, and gaining tools to act on them in everyday life.
  • Social growth – connecting with peers and people of all ages on a deeper level. Finding acceptance among people who see beyond the superficial.
  • Spiritual growth – feeling a connection with the sacred within, among, and beyond us.

Religious education programs include more than classes. On a Sunday you will find children of all ages spending time together.  Older children learn to inspire and encourage the youngest members, and our youngest inspire all with their play and creativity.  Weekly messages of social justice, personal growth, relationship building, and the importance of community are incorporated through conversation, literature, art, and play.

Our religious educator and minister connect all generations of our congregation through shared experiences from music making to meal making.  Each member’s personal and spiritual growth is nourished with monthly themes that encourage introspection and conversation.  Parents and members of the congregation are welcome to lead and teach the youth; our community thrives when we can share our personal gifts and strengths.
