The Free Pulpit and
the Free Pew

Speaking from a Free Pulpit our minister does not have the right to preach a particular doctrine or dogma. Instead, he has the obligation to preach the truth with love as best he knows it as an example to those in the congregation. Those sitting in our Free Pews (chairs, actually!) are not obligated to agree with the minister's opinions; they are obligated to think for themselves. In other words, the fundamental right of conscience applies to both pulpit and pew in our Free Church.
