Welcome to Hope Unitarian Church where our doors are open to people from all backgrounds. If you visit our church you will notice something unusual. We offer the opportunity for people to join a community where instead of faith meaning belief, it means to be faithful and to live a life of fidelity and trustworthiness to others and to life’s great principles.

Our goal is to build a beloved community – with you an important part of it – where people can walk together on a journey of spiritual and religious discovery. Within our community you will find people with many different beliefs. We welcome those with different opinions, even doubt, believing it is a sign of the open mind, struggling to learn. In the words of Thomas Jefferson, we encourage people to “Question with boldness even the existence of a god; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear.”

Here you will be able to listen and to explore without being pressured to join or participate. And if you discover that our community awakens something in your heart – if you discover you’ve been a Unitarian all your life and just never known it – you will have the opportunity to become involved with groups large and small, to put down roots, and to feel that you are home – a home that will challenge and excite.
