Gatherings at Hope Hope Unitarian Church offers many opportunities to gather for fellowship and continuing growth. A few examples include: Religious Education for Adults and Children meets Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. We believe in lifespan religious education and that learning and living are inseparable. Women of Hope meet on the first Thursday of each month to share a dinner and discuss an array of issues that range from politics to art. Family Movie Night - First Friday in the month at 7. pm we show a family movie on the big screen. Chick Flick - Second Wednesday in the month at refreshments at 1.30 pm followed by a movie at 2 pm. Red Hat Ladies meet for lunch on the third Friday in the month. Supper Club gathers in small groups on the first Saturday of some months of the year in homes of members for the sharing of food and camaraderie. It is a great way to meet people. Hope Singers meet each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall for fellowship and choir rehearsal. Circles of Hope are small groups of people with shared interests in specific topics or activities who gather in members homes and set their own schedules. Rev. Jack Bryant hosts the Brown Bag Lunch and Class, a series of lunchtime religious study sessions at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays. The congregation often shares breakfast at the church on the first Sunday of the month. Annual celebrations include the Bar-B-Que, Hogwarts Halloween Party, Hope Auction, Mad Hatters Party, Chili Cookoff, Stone Soup Sunday.
