Hope's Feed the Homeless program began in the 1990s.

On the third Saturday of each month members and friends of Hope prepare a hot meal (the menu and recipes developed by a professional chef) for over a hundred people at Tulsa's Day Center for the Homeless.

A preparation team meets in the afternoon to prepare the meal and a separate group meets at the Day Center to serve it. We are especially proud of our youth and children who help in this ministry. Once a year we prepare and serve the same menu as an after church luncheon and fundraiser with all proceeds going to the Feed the Homeless Program.

If you would like to particicpate in this activity please contact Hope's office. It is some of the most rewarding work you will ever do.

Real religion means the doing of justice. Real religion means the giving to others every right you claim yourself. Real religion consists in duties of man to man, in feeding the hungry, in clothing the naked, in defending the innocent, and in saying what you believe to be true.  ~Robert Ingersol
