For almost forty years Hope has celebrated "Great Pumpkin Sunday" as a way to have fun with our kids. Children (of all ages!) are invited on the Sunday on or before Halloween to bring a pumpkin, carve it into a jack-o-langern, dress up in their Halloween costumes and parade before the congregation at the end of the worship service. In addition, Hope has a traditional Halloween Party for people of all ages. In recent years the theme of the parties has been Hogwarts. There is a cake walk, games, costume contests for all ages, a clown and a professional magician who performs to close out the evening.
