Francis David, a 16th Century Unitarian from Transylvania, said, "We need not think alike to love alike." As Unitarians we are not bound together by common belief, but by a promise of the spirit in which we will - in the words of Amos - 'walk together.' That spirit is set forth in Hope's Covenant:
Love is the Spirit of this Church
and service its law.
This is our Great Covenant:
To dwell together in peace;
To seek the truth in love; and
To help one another.
We welcome all who would walk together with us in the spirit of our covenant.
