Adult Religious Education


Adult Forum – Interested in religious, philosophical, social and political issues of the day? This class meets Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. to address issues of current interest to the community. Recent sessions featured presentations by representatives of the Community Food Bank and the Tulsa Peace Fellowship. People have the opportunity to hear local political candidates, to discuss church-state issues, and to learn about specialized ministries that are working to create microbanks in Central America to alleviate poverty.

Brown Bag Lunch – Join Rev. Jack Bryant on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch and a discussion of religion. Bring your own lunch and enjoy some stimulating discussion and lively conversation. This class meets in the minister’s study.

Sunday Evening Adult Education – Rev. Jack Bryant offers a variety of adult education classes on Sunday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Hope also offers “Beginning the Journey” a class for new members and those interested in learning more about the religious community of Hope Unitarian Church and how to become more involved in its life.
